Application for an advertised vacancy

We aim to always acknowledge every application received for a vacancy. Dependant on the role all successful applications are either asked to attend a first interview or requested to complete relevant online testing prior to the interview process.

Speculative applications

If you wish to send in a speculative application, we will keep your details for six months and will contact you if a position that matches your skills and experience becomes available.

Interviews

The initial interview will take place with the recruiting manager and there may be the opportunity to meet other members of the team. The interview can last between one and one and half hours. The department and the recruiting manager may invite successful candidates back for a second interview at this stage. A Human Resources team member may also be present.

The interviews are structured and designed to help us assess your skills, experience and values for the position. Questions are designed to draw out information regarding key skills for the job and your fit within the company. You may be asked for examples of when you have used particular skills or values.

Other selection tools

Depending on the position we may also ask candidates to complete a psychometric questionnaire, profiling or to give a presentation at the interview stage. In these cases we will notify you in advance and where applicable send you a practice leaflet or clear instruction of any task based activity to help you prepare.
